Wednesday, December 15

Thursday, December 16

I can’t recommend anything for Thursday because Thursdays this month are completely dedicated to Mickey Rooney and I loathe Mickey Rooney. Sorry.

Friday, December 17

• 6:00am Intermezzo: A Love Story (1939) – A married violinist deserts his family when he falls for his accompanist. Cast: Leslie Howard, Ingrid Bergman, Edna Best, John Halliday. Dir: Gregory Ratoff. 70 mins.

  1. I have only seen the MST3K version of Santa Claus Conquers The Martians. I don’t know if I can make it through the bear sequence without the jokes.

    • One year for Christmas a relative actually sent me the DVD along with a NOVELIZATION of the film’s events, as told from the perspective of Pia Zadora’s character. I don’t know who thought capitalizing on the camp value of that film was their path to success in life, but it didn’t work; I think I gave it away.
